POWERS OF ATTORNEY
If you are non-Brazilian and need to send a power of attorney to Brazil, you should be advised that getting an American Power of Attorney and simply translating it might not be sufficient if the country of destination is Brazil. Brazilian power of attorneys require different information than American ones, and the lack thereof many times will result in non-acceptance of the document.
Before proceeding, you should know that there are two different types of power of attorney in Brazil, public and private. If you are non-Brazilian, then you must obtain a private power of attorney.Public powers of attorney do not exist in the USA. Please notice that we do not provide legal advice.
